Each of the following programs is available in three formats:
• 90-minute presentation
• Half-day workshop
• Full-day workshop
Half and full-day workshops include experiential exercises.
1. What Happens When We Die . . . And What Does It Means While We're Alive?
Readers of the national award-winning book, Conversations with Jerry and Other People I Thought Were Dead, report diminished fear of dying as well as greater awareness, insight, compassion and peace in their daily lives. Join award-winning author Irene Kendig for an uplifting, in-depth view of what happens when we die, based on her conversations with seven loved ones on the other side. What you'll learn won't just diminish fear of dying . . . it will illuminate your life and inspire you to live courageously, respectfully and joyfully . . . now.
2. Stuck In Grief: Identifying, Releasing, and Moving On
We get through grieving by crying all of our tears. Unexamined judgments, misinterpretations and outdated beliefs, however, cause prolonged and unnecessary suffering. These include things like, "She was too young to die," "This never should have happened," or, "I won't be at peace until I see justice." As we identify and release what no longer serves us, we clear the way for healing to occur. Perhaps herein lies the greatest gift of grief.
3. Surviving a Loved One's Suicide: From Guilt and Regret to Insight and Compassion
Grieving is a healing process that can be challenging under the best of circumstances; when it is the result of a loved one’s suicide, that challenge can increase exponentially. The belief that it could have or should have been prevented results in feelings of shame, guilt, and regret, especially for parents, who are hardwired to protect their children. Join Irene as she provides an elevated perspective on suicide based on her award-winning book, Conversations with Jerry and Other People I Thought Were Dead. You'll gain insight that will allow you to see life, death, and even suicide . . . with new eyes.
4. Acceptance: Feeling Good When Things Go Wrong
What if we could be in a state of gratitude, peace and acceptance—regardless of how things are turning out? Non-acceptance and judgment block effectiveness and cause unnecessary suffering. Coming into cooperation with what is allows us to remain resourceful and go with the flow instead of against it. Join Irene as she illuminates a path of empowerment that allows us to exercise our most basic freedom: the right to choose our response to life, regardless of circumstance.
5. Living an Unconditionally Loving Life . . . Before the Afterlife
Our desire to change outer circumstances is usually a function of wanting to feel better. We attempt to change circumstances because we think it will make us happier. If only that important “someone” would change, if we could find that better job, earn more money, own the next "thing” that has captured our attention, or be in better shape, then we’d be happy, right? Most of us have been taught that this is the path to happiness. It’s not. True happiness has little to do with outer circumstances and everything to do with how we are being inside ourselves from moment to moment. In this uplifting presentation, Irene will share how she creates a life of ongoing love, peace, joy and compassion . . . heaven on earth . . . here and now—and how you can, too. And isn't that what we're all looking for?
