Reston, Va. – Grateful Press, LLC was rewarded right out of the gate with news that its flagship title, Conversations With Jerry and Other People I Thought Were Dead, by first-time author Irene Kendig, garnered a Silver Medal in the Death and Dying category of the 2010 Independent Publisher Book Awards. The author accepted her medal at the 14th annual “IPPY” awards ceremony on May 25 in a ceremony that kicked off this year’s Book Expo America, the industry’s largest show in North America.
