Relief for Grieving Survivors of Teen Suicides

The wave of media attention surrounding the recent rash of teen suicides due to bullying may be disguising something equally important: the impact of the suicide on surviving loved ones.…

The Key to a Life of Joy

I remember the moment I committed to a life of joy. It was when Jerry, of Conversations with Jerry and Other People I Thought Were Dead, says that, in the spirit world, he flows from one joyous experience to the next, guided by wisdom. I was inspired to do the same in the physical world.

While not an easy path, a life of joy is certainly a worthy one. I've had to give up complaining, which has resulted in more energy and better health. Rather than indulging in…

The Ultimate Freedom: Do You Know What It is?

I travelled to Eastern Europe in September of 2005 as part of a Global Volunteer Program, and spent two weeks holding and caring for babies at a Romanian orphanage. I was placed in charge of eight infants, newborn through nine months of age. In service to the babies, I maintained a state of joyous gratitude for eight hours a day over a two-week period, regardless of whether I was changing a diaper, feeding, or playing. Knowing my purpose in each moment was a gift beyond… Continue

How to Release Regret

I was talking with a man recently who’d been caring for his dying father.

"I left him to take care of some personal business,” he said. "I knew I shouldn’t have gone because something inside told me not to go. But I didn’t listen. My father died while I was gone."

Regret. The word originates from Old French— regreter, which means "bewail (the dead), feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over (something that has happened or been done, esp. a loss or missed…

Self-Forgiveness Part II

In this post, I'll use my experience with Ringo (see Part 1), to demonstrate self-forgiveness,a powerful tool in service to inner healing. There are four steps to this process.

Step 1. I give voice to my feelings of sadness, frustration, anger and fear. I honor my process by creating a safe space in which I can allow whatever I'm feeling to come forward. I may cry, scream, yell or laugh; I just let it come out without judging it. I do this for myself and with… Continue

Thanks, Irene for the response! You have a wonderful husband who is your biggest fan. I am really looking forward to receiving the book. Tell Charlie when I see him in September at the Oracle conference I am looking forward to sharing my thoughts with him. Also, the order said I was receiving signed copies. I hope so. If for some reason they aren't signed, I will ask Charlie to get them personalized - since he has an 'in'. I hope to meet you some day. Once in a while I travel to DC for meetings and maybe we can arrange a dinner. all the best! Pat

Hi Irene ! congratulations on your book - - once I buy a copy, I'd like to send it to you for a personalized autograph. any chance for that? my mom died suddenly and unexpectedly on May 4 (massive stroke - think she wanted to make sure her exit was permanent) and josh said that your book would be very timely.

Hi Irene,

Thanks for writing to me; I couldn't find contact info on the site until you wrote, but I am glad you personally read my message.

Our mutual friend has been in my life for 25 years and I adore his wisdom and viewpoint. He surprised me with a signed copy of your book as a gift. I was transfixed and couldn't put it down until I was finished with it.

A week later I scheduled a session with Jana Anna which was unbelievably healing!
I'm glad you and your book happened into my life.

I have a soul-centered coaching session scheduled with you and I cannot wait!

Hi, Irene. Thanks for your comment, and support! I'd love to have a chat sometime... in fact, I signed up for a session with you ;) Why don't you just call me when it's convenient for you, and we'll go from there.

Blessings of Joy, Dancing heart~~~
